I believe, with all my heart, that making our own clothes is a process that goes beyond choosing a pattern that someone else designed and a few yards of fabric from the craft store. We are sponges that absorb the world around us, and the clothing we make and wear should be a reflection of those influences.
I want to make a shirt inspired by a smile.
I want to draft a pants pattern that looks like scaffolding on the side of a building.
I want to create great art on my body without regard for trends.
I want to experiment!
On August 1st, I am launching a new digital experience!
I will be tracking my experimentation process in a monthly digital zine/newsletter.
This part moodboard, part exclusive video, part fashion-mad-scientist lab report.
